CPM Calculator — Cost Per Thousand Impressions
CPM (cost per mille) is the standard way to price and compare display advertising. This calculator works in all three directions: find CPM from cost and impressions, find cost from CPM and impressions, or find impressions from a budget and CPM.
The Formula
CPM = (Total Cost ÷ Impressions) × 1,000. So $500 spent for 250,000 impressions is a $2 CPM. To plan a campaign, Impressions = (Budget ÷ CPM) × 1,000, and Cost = (CPM × Impressions) ÷ 1,000.
